Members pay Aurelle an annual fee. Elected by Aurelle against six published criteria, version 1. Re-elected each January. A seat is not a recommendation. How Aurelle is paid.

What a seat is

A numbered place on a public roll. It records that Aurelle checked a set of facts on stated dates, and it lapses if they stop being true.

A profile of checked facts

Each registration with its number and the date Aurelle confirmed it, your fees in figures, every way you are paid, and your clients' reviews published whole.

Checked again every year

A seat lasts one year. The checks run again before the next, and a seat whose facts have changed lapses. The record says why.

Introductions, where your rules allow

When someone asks Aurelle for names, it may name you if you are licensed for their state or province. Aurelle charges for an Introduction only where your profession's rules allow it, and promises no volume.

The six criteria

The same for everyone, and shown on every profile with the date of each check. Version 1 is a draft dated November 4, 2026.

  1. Credentials confirmed with the regulatorRegistration and standing, against the public register.
  2. Fees in plain figuresA number a client can read before the first call.
  3. Every way you are paid, disclosedCommissions, trailing fees and referral arrangements, all on the profile.
  4. Where you are licensed, statedWhich country, state or province you are licensed in, and for what. Licensed on both sides: marked cross-border.
  5. Client reviews, published wholeCollected by Aurelle, not by you, and never edited.
  6. A discipline and complaints checkAt election, and again at every re-election.

How a seat is elected

Applying is free. Nothing is paid unless a seat is offered.

  1. Apply

Four short steps, about ten minutes. You can save a draft and come back.

  2. Checks

Aurelle compares your registrations with the regulators' public registers and replies within 14 working days. If they check out, it asks for your client list and statements, then invites your clients to review your work.

  3. Election

Aurelle Standards decides in writing, with reasons, within 30 working days of having everything. Seats are elected in the order applications are complete, up to 100 a year.

  4. Your seat

Seats are numbered. Aurelle invoices after the election, and your profile goes live when the invoice is paid.

  5. Re-election, every year

The checks run again. If a criterion has stopped being true, the seat lapses.

Aurelle Standards

Writes the criteria, decides each election, hears appeals and complaints, and publishes the conflict-of-interest policy. Reviewers are named at the first election.

Charter and policy

Bureau

A weekly show under your firm's name, scripted to your compliance rules, with the compliance pack your reviewer needs. From CAD 950.

How Bureau works

How Aurelle is paid

Professionals pay Aurelle. That is a conflict of interest, and Aurelle limits it in writing.

  • The seat fee is invoiced only after the election or re-election it covers has been decided.
  • No one who pays sees an application, sets a criterion or changes a score.
  • Payment does not decide who is named in an Introduction, or in what order.
  • Aurelle sells no financial products and takes no share of what a client pays a professional.
